Markets
Markets are one of the great delights of France. The nearest market is on Sunday morning at Issigeac, where the emphasis is on local produce. There are also markets on most days of the week in the towns around the area. In season there are a selection of 'marches en nocturne' (night markets) such as Cadouin and Eymet, both with great atmospheres and well worth a visit! Further afield is the hugely popular Saturday market in the narrow streets of medieval Sarlat - it is worth going early!

Restaurants
There are restaurants and auberges all around the area that cater for all tastes and budgets and are too numerous to mention them all. Nearby restaurants are Chez Alain at Issigeac, Relais St Jacques at St Capraise de Lalinde and a multitude in and around Bergerac itself and all along the villages and towns of the Dordogne river.
